Funded by the Portuguese Culture Ministry (Direção-Geral das Artes), “Double” addressed works for two pianos and/or two percussionists. This project was implemented in 2019, and the repertoire was presented in concerts in Aveiro, Viana do Castelo and Coimbra, including works by the Portuguese composers António Pinho Vargas, Igor C. Silva and José Alberto Gomes, as well as the Portuguese premiere of Steve Reich’s Quartet for 2 pianos and 2 vibraphones.
